the most wonderful time of the year

...time to decorate the tree,

wear cute pajamas,open presents,
and eat good food with the fam!

BUT...

before the fun can get started we must perform the all important ritual of making Christmas lists (and b-day lists - Brandon and Lindsay). If you are in the habit of buying something when you want it (Dad and Mom) please stop now and instead write those (reasonably priced) items down on a list and email them to the family.

Word on the street is that some of you are being practical and trying to save up for some big ticket items like computers and cameras. That is cool. I don't mind giving you a gift card or some cold, hard cash if that will make you happy. A memo also went out that Santa's favorite store this year is Emergency Essentials, so make sure to let him know how good you've been and how much you don't want to starve now that the liberals have taken over. There's nothing like a bucket of MREs under the tree to warm the cockles of my heart come Christmas morning.

In all seriousness though, I like to have my Christmas shopping done before things get crazy people! And that means starting now. So let's start working on those lists. Love you all and can't wait to see you at Christmas.
