It totally bugs me when my boss sends me multicolored emails instead of spending time doing something useful like answering the phone or helping a customer. I'm used to my boss spending most of the day in her office, but I try to assume she is doing something important. However today I received a very colorful email from her. And I mean colorful literally. She emphasized her various points by making them all different colors and fonts. This was not just visually disconcerting but also infuriating as well. More so because it wasn't the first time. I wonder what our customers waiting in long lines for service would think if they knew the store manager was sitting in the back creating multicolored emails.
